Use your username and manage contacts

Your Ramp Network username helps other app users find and connect with you. It provides a way to send supported transfers to an accepted contact without typing a wallet address.

Create and share your username

Choose your username when the app asks you during wallet setup. Check it carefully before confirming. You can find it in your profile and share it with the person you want to connect with.

Always confirm a contact's identity and spelling before sending. A recognizable username does not make a blockchain transfer reversible.

Why is an invitation Pending?

The other person must accept the invitation and finish setting up their Ramp Network Wallet. Ask them to open the app and check for the invitation.

Once the connection is accepted, use the available contact transfer options. A pending invitation does not mean crypto has been sent.

Hide your username from search

In Account, turn on Make my username private if you do not want other people to find your username through search. Turn it off to make your username searchable again.

This setting controls username search. Continue to check the recipient and transaction details when sending funds.

A contact or invitation still looks wrong

Confirm that the other person used the intended account and accepted the correct invitation. If the status does not update, contact Ramp Network support with the usernames and a description of the issue. Never include a recovery phrase or authentication code.
