Send, claim or cancel a payment link

A payment link lets you send crypto for someone to claim in the Ramp Network app, where this option is available.

Payment links expire 7 days after creation. Check the asset, network and expiry shown for the link.

Send a link

  1. Choose the payment-link option in the app's send flow.

  2. Enter the amount and review the details.

  3. Authorize the transaction and share the generated link privately with the intended recipient.

Treat the link as sensitive. Do not post it publicly or include it in a public support message.

Claim a link

Open the link and follow the instructions to use the Ramp Network app. If you are new, complete the required account, wallet and username setup before claiming.

Check the amount and asset before you approve the claim. You do not need to share your recovery phrase or authentication codes with the sender.

Cancel an unclaimed link

Open the link's details in Activity and use the cancellation option if it is still available. A link that has already been claimed cannot be cancelled.

Reclaim funds from an expired link

Funds are not returned automatically when a payment link expires.

  1. Open Activity in the Ramp Network app.

  2. Select the expired payment link you sent.

  3. Select Reclaim funds and complete the authorization prompts.

After a successful reclaim, the app confirms that the funds will appear in your wallet shortly. Check your balance before sending a replacement. Use the expiry displayed for your link.

The funds have not returned

If the link has expired, reclaim its funds first using the steps above. If you have already cancelled or reclaimed it, refresh your wallet and check Activity for the return transaction. Contact Ramp Network support if reclaiming fails or the funds remain missing after the app confirms success. Include the time, amount and transaction reference; keep the claim link private.
