What is Ramp Earn?
Ramp Earn is a feature that lets you earn interest on your USDC, a digital dollar stablecoin. Instead of your funds just sitting in your account, they can generate returns automatically over time.
When you use Ramp Earn, your USDC is deposited into a secure on-chain lending protocol called Morpho, which runs on the Base network. This protocol allows your funds to earn a competitive annual yield (APY), meaning you receive interest on your balance simply by keeping your USDC in the Earn feature.
You don’t need to actively trade or manage anything, the process is handled automatically in the background. Steakhouse acts as the curator of Ramp’s USDC vault, helping manage how the funds are allocated within the protocol.
How much can I earn?
Current APY rates range between 3-7% annually, depending on market conditions. The exact rate is displayed before you deposit and updates in real-time based on the Morpho protocol's performance.
Which cryptocurrencies can I earn with?
Currently, Ramp Earn supports USDC (USD Coin) only.
Who can use the Earn feature?
Earn is available only for non-custodial Ramp's wallet users, available via our mobile app. Ramp Earn is available only for users within the US jurisdiction in states in which Ramp is licensed.
Depositing Funds
How do I start earning?
Open the Ramp Network app
Tap the "More" button (three dots) and select Earn or access via banner from wallet view.
Enter the amount you want to deposit
Review the order summary
Confirm with Face ID or another used method
What's the minimum deposit amount?
There is no minimum deposit limit.
Are there any fees for depositing or withdrawing?
No, deposits to Earn have zero network fees. You'll see "$0.00 - 0.00 USDC" displayed for network fees.
How long does it take for my deposit to start earning?
Your funds begin earning interest immediately after confirmation. Interest accrues continuously and is visible in your earn portfolio.
Do I need to approve anything?
You authorize deposit and redeem/withdrawal for the requested amount with your Ramp Wallet passkey. Rest of your funds stays accessible only by you.
Managing Your Earn Portfolio
Where can I see my earnings?
Your earn portfolio is displayed on the home screen below your main wallet balance. It shows:
Total balance in your earn portfolio
Current interest earned (in green)
Current APY percentage
Can I view my transaction history?
Yes, all deposits and redemptions appear in the Activity section on your home screen, marked as "Deposit - Completed" or "Redeem - Completed" with the respective amounts.
When is interest calculated?
Interest accrues continuously in real-time. You'll see your earnings update as "+[amount] USDC" in green next to your earn portfolio balance.
Withdrawing Funds
How do I withdraw my funds?
Tap on the amount under "Your earn portfolio" from the home screen
Select the amount to redeem (or use quick buttons: 25%, 50%, 75%, Max)
Tap "Continue"
Funds are instantly transferred to your Ramp Network Wallet
How long does a withdrawal take?
Withdrawals are instant and free. Your funds appear in your main wallet immediately after confirming the redemption.
Are there withdrawal fees?
No, redemptions from Ramp Earn are completely free with zero fees.
Can I withdraw a portion of my funds?
Yes, you can redeem any amount from your earn portfolio. Use the percentage buttons (25%, 50%, 75%) for quick selection or enter a custom amount. The remaining balance continues earning interest.
What happens to my earned interest when I withdraw?
All accumulated interest is automatically included when you redeem funds. You'll receive both your principal and earned interest together.
Security & Compliance
What protocol powers Ramp Earn?
Ramp Earn is powered by Morpho, a decentralized lending protocol. The contract address is displayed during deposit confirmation for full transparency. The Curator of the Vault is Steakhouse.
Is Ramp Earn regulated?
This service is an interaction between your non-custodial wallet and decentralise lending protocol. The Earn feature is not regulated.
What are the risks tied to the Earn feature?
As every investing operation, this one is also prone to risk. In the event of a protocol hack or vault collateral liquidation, you might lose your funds.
What permissions am I granting?
When you deposit, you authorize deposit and redeem/withdrawal for the requested amount with your Ramp Wallet passkey. This allows the protocol to:
Access your deposited USDC
Generate yield on your behalf
Return funds when you redeem
The spending cap is limited to exactly the amount you deposit.
Troubleshooting
My deposit isn't showing in my earn portfolio
If your deposit doesn't appear:
Check the Activity section for a "Deposit - Completed" status
Refresh the app by pulling down on the home screen
Verify your wallet balance decreased by the deposit amount

The APY rate changed after I deposited
APY rates fluctuate based on market conditions and protocol utilization. Your earnings adjust automatically to reflect current rates. This is normal behavior for DeFi yield protocols.
I can't access the Earn feature
Ensure that:
You have USDC in your Ramp Network Wallet
You're using the latest version of the app
Your tax residence is in the US
My redemption is taking longer than expected
Redemptions should be instant. If delayed:
Check your internet connection
Verify the transaction status in Activity
Try closing and reopening the app
Contact Customer Support if the issue persists beyond 5 minutes
