Recognize a scam before you send money

Pause if someone pressures you to buy or send crypto, promises guaranteed profits, or asks for a payment to unlock a prize, investment balance or refund. Fake celebrity endorsements and convincing social profiles do not prove an offer is legitimate.

Protect your account and wallet

  • Keep recovery phrases, private keys, passwords and sign-in codes private.

  • Create and control your own wallet. Do not use one set up by a stranger.

  • Check the receiving wallet address and network before confirming a transaction.

  • Do not let an unknown person control your device remotely or guide you through a payment.

  • Use unique passwords and two-factor authentication where available for your email and other accounts.

  • Keep your device, browser and security software up to date.

Check messages independently

Open the official Ramp Network website or Help Center yourself instead of following a link in an unexpected message or advert. A familiar display name, sender address or caller ID can be copied or spoofed.

Verify unexpected support calls through official support channels. Do not send funds or disclose security credentials because someone claims to represent Ramp Network.

Ramp Network support does not provide investment advice. If you are unsure about a request or think you may have been targeted, stop and Contact Ramp Network support before sending more money.
