How do I sell crypto through Ramp Network?

Learn how to sell your cryptocurrency step-by-step, from initiating the transfer to receiving your funds securely and quickly.

You can sell crypto through a wallet or website that offers Ramp Network, or from the Ramp Network sell page. These steps cover partner and web checkout.

Before you start

You need crypto in a wallet you can send from, enough funds for any network or wallet withdrawal fee, and a supported payout method in your own name. Availability depends on your location, the crypto and network, and the service offered by the partner.

Start your sale

  1. Open the selling option in your wallet or website and choose Ramp Network, or open the Ramp Network sell page and select Sell.

  2. Choose the crypto, its network and the amount to sell. A token with the same name on another network is a different transfer option: ETH on Ethereum is not ETH on Arbitrum.

  3. Follow the checkout prompts to sign in and complete any required verification.

  4. Choose an available payout method. Check the account or card details and make sure the owner’s name matches your Ramp Network account.

  5. Review the quoted payout and fees. The initial quote can change before your crypto is received and processed.

  6. Follow the transaction’s instructions to send your crypto. If your wallet opens a transfer for you, check its details before approving it. If you must send manually, use the address, network, amount and any memo or destination tag shown for this transaction.

  7. Return to the transaction page to follow its progress and save your receipt.

Ramp Network processes the payout after receiving and confirming your crypto and completing any required checks. You will receive an email when the payout is processed; the time it takes to appear in your account depends on the payout method and your bank.

Do not send crypto before creating the sale, use details from an older transaction, or send another transfer because the first one is still pending.
