Bank and card options
United States: bank payouts through ACH or, when supported, Real-Time Payments (RTP).
Europe: SEPA or SEPA Instant bank payouts where available.
Mexico: SPEI bank payouts where available.
Cards: payouts to eligible Visa or Mastercard credit and debit cards in supported locations. Card payouts are not available for US sales; Mastercard coverage is more limited than Visa coverage.
Choose only a method offered for your transaction. If a method is missing, you cannot enable it by entering account details for a different country.
Can I use someone elseâs account or card?
No. The payout account or card must belong to you, and the ownerâs name must match the name on your Ramp Network account. This includes payouts to friends or relatives: their permission does not make their account eligible.
A sale can be rejected if the names do not match. If you already sent crypto, check the transaction status and email for refund instructions.
How does RTP work?
RTP is a US domestic bank payment network that supports payments around the clock, including weekends and holidays. You do not need to request it separately: for eligible US bank payouts, Ramp Network uses RTP when supported and ACH otherwise. There is no additional Ramp Network charge for RTP compared with ACH.
Your bank must support receiving RTP payments. Ask your bank if you are unsure. A completed RTP payment is final and cannot be canceled or reversed; contact Ramp Network support immediately if there is a problem.
For eligible European bank payouts, SEPA Instant may be used when supported by your bank. The Ramp Network fee is the same as for standard SEPA.
Does an instant method guarantee an instant payout?
No. Crypto confirmation, verification and processing still need to happen before the bank or card payout. Card speed also depends on whether the issuer supports Fast Funds through Visa Direct or Mastercard Send. Your bank can confirm its support.
