Consumer Protection and Support: Appointing a Trusted Contact Person

At Ramp Network, we are committed to your protection. In line with consumer protection regulations, you can nominate a Trusted Contact Person (TCP)—someone we can reach out to for support.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When will we contact your Trusted Contact Person?

We will only contact your TCP and disclose confidential information in relation to the specific circumstances to which you have provided consent. These circumstances are:

• If we have a concern about your possible financial abuse.

• If we need to confirm your contact details, your health status, or the identity of a legal guardian, executor, or trustee.

• If we are having difficulty communicating with you directly.

Important Information: A TCP has no authority to manage your account, move funds, or act as your legal representative. This service is generally not available if you already have a formal legal arrangement in effect, such as a decision-making representative or an active Power of Attorney.

How to Nominate your Trusted Contact

To set this up, we require written consent from both you and your chosen contact:

Step 2: Ask your nominee to complete the Trusted Contact Person (TCP) Consent Form.

Submission Instructions

Please send both completed forms to us:

By Email: tcp@rampnetwork.com

By Post: Ramp Swaps (Ireland) Limited, Huckletree, The Academy, 42 Pearse Street, Dublin, D02 HV59

Next Steps

Once both forms are received, our team will review the details and confirm when your Trusted Contact Person has been recorded on your account.

Important Considerations

No Legal Authority: Please be aware that a Trusted Contact Person does not have the authority to manage your account, conduct transactions, or act as your legal representative simply by being nominated or contacted as a TCP.

Existing Legal Arrangements: This support option generally does not apply if Ramp Network is aware of an active formal legal arrangement, such as a decision-making representative, co-decision maker, or an attorney under an active Enduring Power of Attorney.
